For Immediate Release Bang & Olufsen and Midwest Computer Recyclers Green Up for Minnesota Bang & Olfusen America, Inc. teamed up with Midwest Computer Recyclers to Green Up E-waste under the new Minnesota Electronics Recycling Law. MCR will collect and process consumer e-waste so Bang and Olufsen will be compliant under the May 8, 2007 mandate. With four Bang & Olufsen America, Inc. locations in the Midwest including Minneapolis and Chicago, MCR is an ideal candidate to provide such services as other Midwestern states move forward with similar laws. The recent Minnesota law is the result of the Midwest E-waste Recycling Initiative Policy signed by Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Minnesota is the first state in the Midwest Initiative to enact a manufacturer recycling law to provide a recycling path for consumer e-waste. The Minnesota Law went into effect on July 1, 2007.
